Race Day: Creadan Grae (Newton Abbot)

A much improved performance from the 10 year old who bar a mistake down the back straight may have been value for finishing closer.

Charlie [Price] and Creadan bundled along in a small but competitive field over 2 miles jumping well and getting away from his fences smartly. Class 3 company was always going to test the limits of his ability but we liked the way he once again stuck to his task and almost ran down the 136 rated For Pleasure on the line. First time visors had the desired effect.

The drop down in trip from his opening two runs for the yard seems to have suited, he jumps well for the main and showed good pace here. Most of his previous winning form has come over 2 and a half and with him now running off a more realistic mark we might not be far away from getting a good opportunity come his way.

Newton Abbot on a Monday is fair trek so a huge thanks to all the team for presenting another runner ready to compete.
