Crescendo Lady

2022 b f (May 20th)
Sire: Passing Glance (GB)
Dam: Sonic Weld (GB)
Dam Sire: Zafeen (FR)

A promising 4-year-old filly by Passing Glance, owned within the yard. Lightly raced and still very much learning her trade, she represents an exciting young prospect for the future.

Having made her debut in a Bumper at Fakenham Racecourse in April 2026, she is at the early stages of her racing career, gaining valuable experience with each outing.

Bred to stay well and with the physical scope to progress, Crescendo Lady is expected to develop as she matures, with the potential to move forward into hurdles in time. Like many young horses in the yard, patience is key, and her early runs are all about education and building confidence.

Jalisco Star

7yo Bay Mare
Sire:Mahler (GB)
Dam:Elphis Supreme (IRE)
Dam's Sire:Westerner (GB)
Owner: The Laura Horsfall Racing Club

Jalisco Star has thrived since returning to hurdles late last year, proving herself to be a highly progressive and reliable staying mare. She has been in the winner's enclosure twice recently, following up a dominant display at Uttoxeter in December with a determined victory in a Class 3 handicap at Chepstow in February. Her consistency is further highlighted by a string of narrow second-place finishes at Fontwell and Warwick. While she found the step up in grade a tougher assignment in her most recent outings at Newbury and Wetherby, she remains a formidable competitor over staying distances, particularly when there is significant ease in the ground

Lancier Des Obeaux

5yo:(01May21 b g)
Sire:Clovis Du Berlais (FR)
Dam:Lagarde Des Obeaux (FR)
Dam's Sire:Kapgarde (FR) (14f)

Lancier Des Obeaux is a young, French-bred gelding who is currently gaining valuable experience in the early stages of his hurdling career. Trained by Laura Horsfall, he has faced some testing conditions in recent months, including a fourth-place finish over 2m 3f at Warwick in February and a sixth-place effort at Southwell in March. While he has been learning his trade in maiden and novice company, he is a horse being brought along with his future as a chaser in mind. As he matures and moves into handicap company, he remains an interesting prospect to watch, particularly when stepping up in trip.

ESCORT’KHEOPS

Sire:Masterstroke (USA)
Dam:Escort'woman (FR)
Dam's Sire:Robin Des Champs (FR)

Escortkheops has been in exceptionally consistent form recently, showing great versatility across different distances and ground conditions. After a string of solid placed efforts, he secured a well-deserved first victory at Plumpton in March, staying on strongly to win over 2m 4½f. He proved that performance was no fluke just two weeks later at Bangor, finishing a gallant second over a longer 3-mile trip. With a win and two seconds in his last three starts, he is clearly at the top of his game and remains a horse to keep firmly on side.

Jazz Talking

3yo:(21Jan22 b f)
Sire:Frontiersman (GB) (9.2f)
Dam:City Dazzler (IRE)
Dam's Sire:Elusive City (USA) (6.9f)

Jazz Talking has recently transitioned to hurdles and showed immediate promise on her debut in the sphere at Fakenham in late October. In a competitive juvenile fillies' hurdle, she stayed on to finish a respectable third, proving she has the aptitude for obstacles after being campaigned primarily on the flat. This 3-year-old daughter of Frontiersman looks like an interesting project for the Laura Horsfall yard; having shown much more spark over the 2-mile trip than in her previous flat outings, she is one to watch as she gains more experience and steps into handicap company over jumps.

Lexie's Moon

7yo:(17Apr18 b m)
Sire:Pether's Moon (IRE)
Dam:Tiger Line (GB)
Dam's Sire:Kayf Tara (GB) (13.7f)

Lexie's Moon has been the model of consistency since the turn of the year, recording back-to-back runner-up finishes in January 2026. She kicked off the year with a gallant second in a competitive 14-runner handicap at Fontwell before once again finding only one too good at Uttoxeter later that month, where she was beaten just 1½ lengths. A winner on heavy ground at Stratford previously, this 8-year-old mare clearly relishes testing conditions and remains on a very competitive mark. Given her current string of solid performances, she looks primed to return to the winner's enclosure soon, particularly when encountered with her preferred soft surface.

Neptune House

5yo:(25May20 br g)
Sire:Elusive Pimpernel (USA) (9.5f)
Dam:Popaway (GB)
Dam's Sire:Nomadic Way (USA) (13.8f)

Neptune House is a lightly-raced 6-year-old who has been gaining experience in maiden and novice company since joining Laura Horsfall’s yard. While he has found some of his recent assignments in testing ground a challenge, including outings at Ffos Las and Hereford, he showed a glimmer of ability when finishing a respectable fourth at Doncaster earlier in the year. He remains a work in progress as he matures and gets more mileage under his belt; however, as he settles into a handicap mark, he could prove to be a more competitive proposition over staying trips when conditions are in his favor.

Jack The Savage

8yo: Bay Gelding
Sire:Passing Glance (GB) (10.1f)
Dam:Catching Zeds (GB)
Dam's Sire:Lucky Story (USA) (8.3f)

Jack The Savage remains a reliable and tough campaigner who recently rewarded his connections with a hard-fought victory at Hereford. Dropping to a career-low mark, he ended a long losing run in March by showing great determination to hold on for a narrow win over 3m 1½f. He followed that up with a respectable fourth-place finish at Southwell later that month. He appears most comfortable over staying distances and, given his recent return to the winner's enclosure, remains a competitive threat in handicap company.

Kampari

6yo:(03Apr20 b g)
Sire:Rail Link (GB) (11.2f)
Dam:Oudette (FR)
Dam's Sire:Apple Tree (FR) (9f)

Kampari recently got off the mark with a gritty victory at Warwick in late March, relishing a significant step up in trip. Competing over 3m 2f for the first time, he stayed on strongly to land a Class 5 Novices' Handicap Hurdle by half a length. This career-best performance followed a move to Laura Horsfall’s stable earlier in the year and a promising third-place finish at Southwell at the start of the month. Now that he has found his niche as a stayer, he looks like a progressive type to follow in staying handicaps on better ground.

MAXFLY D’AGROSTIS

6yo:(07Apr20 b g)
Sire:Cima De Triomphe (IRE)
Dam:Ritzoue D'Agrostis (FR)
Dam's Sire:Konig Turf (GER)

Maxfly d'Agrostis has shown a real liking for the point-to-point sphere this season, culminating in a dominant victory at Garthorpe in late March. Showing a high cruising speed, he made all the running to land the Maiden in gritty fashion, holding on well to secure a well-deserved first win. This followed consistent placed efforts at Revesby Park and Ampton earlier in the year. A French-bred son of Cima De Triomphe, he is a sharp, athletic type who has thrived since returning to a front-running role. Now that he has got his head in front, he remains a progressive sort to follow as he steps up into Restricted company.

Sky Grove

(26 Apr21 b g)
Sire: Order of St George (IRE)
Dam: Scarlet Sky (IRE)
Dam's Sire: Flemensfirth (USA)

Sky Grove – an exciting new addition to the yard and being by Order of St George will appreciate good ground. A couple of runs in Irish points saw him beaten 3 lengths by Cosmic Connection (a subsequent easy Warwick winner at 12/1 – who now has an RPR of 124) he will have a run in a bumper shortly to ensure he maintains his novice status for next season. His home work has been extremely exciting and we look forward to getting him on the track very soon. For sale to stay in the yard.
